I’m your host, The Manhwa Dude. I’ve been reading manhwa since 2016 — back when the web landscape looked very different. At the time, manhwa wasn’t widely recognized, and manga clearly dominated the scene. Reading manhwa certainly wasn’t “cool” yet.

Fast forward to today, and things have changed dramatically. With the rise of platforms like TikTok and the global influence of the Hallyu movement, manhwa has exploded in popularity. Every year, more readers discover it, and with that growth comes an overwhelming number of websites publishing manhwa and manhua titles.
